Louise Greig grew up in Timaru and after gaining an MA in English at Canterbury University and a BA in Psychology from Victoria University she worked in consumer research and as an advertising strategist. She is largely self-taught as an artist and now lives in Auckland. This is her first exhibition and her works hark back to Dutch 17th Century and Renaissance painting but with a contemporary twist.
