The District Planner holds an important position in maintaining and administering the District Plan.
The role also includes the responsibility to investigate, anticipate and respond to changes in the economic, social and political environment and so the successful applicant will contribute to the future development of the District by making recommendations for change to the District Plan.
You will be the holder of a recognised professional qualification, along with several years experience, preferably in local government.
Your communication and staff management skills will be excellent, with experience in the planning management of both the urban and rural sectors.
