Ursula Moray Williams CentenaryCreative Writing CompetitionCongratulations to the winners!!!!Judge Colin Davison, UK author of the Ursula Moray Williams biography Through the Magic Door, said “What a wonderful collection of short stories the competition has produced. I was immensely impressed, and found some wonderful element in every single one of them.”The Ursula Moray Williams Cup for Children’s Writing goes to Mafoa Siale of Bluestone School, Timaru, for her story “Winter”. Mafoa was also winner of the Year 7-8 category.The prizewinners are:Year 1-3

The competition was run this year to celebrate the centenary of the birth of noted UKchildren’s author Ursula Moray Williams, who visited Timaru in the 1980s and donated a cup for a children’s writing competition.
