Aotearoa Peoples Network User Policy / Terms of Use

The Library wishes to provide a secure environment for the public to explore the resources of the Internet.

In using the Aotearoa People’s Network Kaharoa (APNK) you agree to be legally bound by relevant New Zealand law, including copyright, privacy and censorship law.

Usage of the APNK is monitored and may be used for legal purposes.

Users of the APNK breaching New Zealand law or Library Policy will be banned from further use of the service.

The APNK Internet computers must NOT be used to display or download restricted or objectionable material.

Children’s use of the APNK is the responsibility of their parent, guardian or caregiver.

Limit of 2 people sitting per computer.

No food or drink is to be consumed at the computers.

Loud and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Foul / Obscene language will not be tolerated.

Please do not be offended if you are asked to move on / or leave the Library.
