Library Elf is a free email service that tracks your Library items. Do you want to reduce overdues? Do you have a family with children and lots of books? Do you request a lot of holds?
If you have answered 'yes' to any of these questions, Library Elf might be a good solution for you and your family. Receive – email alerts before items are due, email alerts on reserves ready to collect, a complete list of your family’s loans and reserves.
Timaru District Libraries are part of the Aotearoa People’s Network Kaharoa which provides free access to the Internet and a wide range of applications, from Microsoft Office to Skype. These computers also have CD and DVD drivers and USB ports to allow you to download and upload your information.

These cases are available to groups for use in displaying items.

If you are unable to find what you need, please ask at the Help Desk. Whether you need help locating an item on the shelf; a telephone number; a contact for a local club; help with searching on the OPAC Library Catalogue - remember we can help you.
If you are confined to your place of residence (either your own home, a rest home or a special accommodation home) or have difficultly getting about and cannot come to the Library we can provide a free Library delivery / collection service direct to your door.
