This activity aims to assist the community with funding for planning and financing community projects, drawing upon sources such as the Creative New Zealand Local Arts Scheme and Council grants.

The funding enables groups to have "ownership" of their facilities, while the Council makes sure that facilities are appropriate and are not duplicating each other.
