Back ‘em up explores the War years in South Canterbury, and looks at how our local communities coped with the threat of invasion, shortages of all kinds and supported the war effort.

See a range of objects, images, recreations and information sources that show how local people organised themselves, prepared defences, and carried on with life despite the difficulties.
