Temporary Traffic Management
As part of the Council’s ongoing safety management
of the District roads the Land Transport Unit from 1 July
2004 requires temporary traffic management for:
Any road Opening Notice or Service Application
Any activity that occupies the road carriageway
Any activity that may affect normal vehicular or pedestrian traffic It should be noted that some mobile operations such as stock
droving and rubbish collections are not included as yet.
