District Swimming Pools

The Council operates two public pools in Timaru and one each at Temuka, Geraldine and Pleasant Point to meet the level of the New Zealand Standard for Swimming Pool Supervision.

Century Indoor Pool

Open Year Round

Excellent facilities for children and parents including barbecue facilities and an amazing hydroslide. Come and enjoy yourselves. Heated 33m indoor pool open every day.

Sessions commence from 6am Monday to Friday, 7am Saturday, 10am Sunday. Open year round, except for Christmas day and Good Friday.

Programmes for Aqua Fitness and Swimming Tuition available.

Maori Park Aqualand

Open November to March

Heated 50m outdoor pool with slide and diving well, barbecues and picnic areas. Great family entertainment. Sessions commence at 6am Monday to Friday, noon Saturday, 10am on Sunday. Open November to March, except for Christmas day.
