Consultation
Council is seeking public feedback on the Dangerous, Affected and Insanitary Buildings Policy.
All councils are required to have such a policy, and that it state:
- Council’s approach to identifying and managing dangerous, affected and insanitary buildings within the district; and
- Council’s priorities in doing this; and
- How the Policy will apply to heritage buildings.
Do you believe that the draft policy has the right identification approach, considers the right priorities when deciding how to manage identified risks, and has the right approach to heritage buildings? Or do you believe it could be improved? Tell us by making a submission.
The Statement of Proposal (below) contains full details of the draft policy, proposed changes from the current policy, and alternative options.
