#INFRASTRUCTURE MATTERS

MacDonald Stormwater Realignment and Coulter Place/ Waihi Terrace Retaining Wall - Geraldine.

Next week, the roading team will be replacing the broken stormwater pipe which runs underneath the retaining wall along Coulter Place because the existing retaining wall has reached the end of its useful life.

The repair work will involve realigning the existing structure and installing a new sump. At the same time, the team will also be replacing the broken retaining wall (located adjacent to Coulter Place and Waihi Terrace).

The new retaining wall will be made using an interlocking concrete block system, which will make the wall structurally sound and visually pleasing.

Works will commence on Thursday 7th September 2023, with an expected duration of 8 weeks.
