Non slip treatment to be installed on Stafford St tiles

23 Nov 2023

#INFRASTRUCTURE MATTERS

After a successful trial in front of the Timaru District Library, we are happy to advise that our contractor will be applying a non-slip tile treatment along Stafford Street from the George Street intersection to Church Street and Strathallan Street as part of the City Town Enhancement Programme.

This new coating is a long-life product and will add grip to the existing tiles, helping to reduce slip hazards.

The coating will be applied during the evening of November 27th & 28th between the hours of 6pm and midnight, to reduce disruption to businesses.

What’s next you ask?

Next year will bring a wider roll out of this nonslip treatment in our CBD, watch the space!
