#INFRASTRUCTURE MATTERS

Park Lane update:

Our Park Lane Resurfacing project has been trucking along greatly, we would like to thank the residents of Park Lane and Lysaught Street for being so patient while work is underway. Next week the process to seal the new road will begin. Sealing the road surface is similar to putting a new coat of paint on your house, it makes it more waterproof which will help support the longevity of the infrastructure.

Galbraith Footbridge update:

Next week work will begin on assembling the bridge at one of Fulton Hogan’s work sites, once it has passed its check by one of their engineers it will be ready to transport to the work site for installation! The community (and the ducks) are excited to utilize the new structure!

Woodbury Road Resealing:

The sealing of Woodbury Road will begin its stage 2 on Monday, which will be finishing off a 2.2km section of road reconstruction and seal widening heading out to the Woodbury township.

Branscombe Street:

The end of Branscombe Street will be receiving a new footpath and chipseal parking area. We will also be improving the existing road surface and renewing the driveway entrances. Garden plots will also be installed around the existing trees. These improvements are needed at the street end to accommodate the turning movements of heavy vehicles/trucks.
