Remedial work at Selwyn/Douglas/Grasmere - 3pm - 6pm this afternoon
Hi folks, this afternoon we're beginning work to reinstate the road and surrounding areas following yesterday's water main burst, which will mean closing a section of the roundabout.
From 3pm to 6pm tonight there will be no access to southern Selwyn Street from the Douglas and northern section of Selwyn Street. All traffic will have to go down Grasmere St.

Traffic is disrupted at the Selwyn Street Douglas Street round about please avoid if possible.

There is a burst water main in the road which occured about 4.30 this morning.

Water is off in the area of White, Douglas, Selwyn to Hobbs Street Area. The water will remain off untill the repai is fixed this morning.
Contractors are on site making a repair to get water back on.
