Road Closure: Rimu Street, Timaru

Where: The road will be closed between #45 Rimu Street and #53 Rimu Street

When: The road will be closed daily between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm from Tuesday August 11 2026 to Friday August 14 2026

Why: Water lateral repair

Road Closure: Sheffield Street, Washdyke

Where: The road will be closed from Meadows Road to the end of Sheffield Street

When: The road will be closed nightly from 7.00pm to 6.00am from Wednesday  August 12 2026 to Monday November 30 2026.

Why: Installation of electrical ducting as part of a wider network upgrade

Additional information/Disruption:

• This closure point will be managed by traffic management staff to allow for business access.

Lane Closure: Stafford Street, Timaru

Where: The south bound lane on Stafford Street between George Street and Woollcombe Street

When: The lane will be closed daily between 6.00 am and 5.30 pm from Wednesday August 12 2026 to Friday August 14 2026

Why: To allow unloading of precast panelling into the Theatre construction site.

Additional information/Disruption:

• There will be no entry on Stafford Street from the intersection with George Street.
• There will also be an estop to stop traffic heading north on Stafford Street to allow the truck to enter and exit the work area.
