Where: Rayner Street from Kabul Street to Smart Munro Road and Smart Munro Road from Rayner Street to Doake Road

When: The closure will be in place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Starting Monday, August 18, 2025, to Wednesday, August 11 to 15, 2025. The road will reopen during the evening.

Why: Drainage and water sewer connections

Road Closure Regent Street, Timaru

Where: Regent Street between #38 and #41

When: The closure will be in place from 8:00 am on Monday, August 18, 2025, to 5:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Why:  Installation of new service connections

One Way System Stafford Street, Timaru

Where: Stafford Street between Sefton Street East and North Street

When: Stafford Street will operate under a one-way system the week of Monday, August 18, 2025.

Why:  Inspection of anchor points for the Christmas Angels.

Road Closure Thatcher Road, Geraldine

Where: Thatcher Road from Tripp Settlement Road to the dead end.

When: The closure will be in place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Starting Wednesday, August 20, 2025, through Friday, August 22, 2025. Then again on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Why:  Alpine Energy – Electrical maintenance
