Road Closure Virtue Avenue, Timaru

Where: Virtue Avenue – Access into Caroline Bay.

When: The closure will be put in place each night from 6.30 pm until 6 am on: Sunday June 8, Saturday June 14, Sunday June 15.

Why:  To allow KiwiRail to carry out rail maintenance on the Virtue Avenue overpass.

Additional information/Disruption:

• Car and pedestrian access will be closed off for safety, but the team will be to help motorists already in the Caroline Bay area out again and escort any pedestrians through the site.

Road Closure School Road, Geraldine

Where: School Road from Te Moana Road to Pleasant Valley Road.

When: The closure will be in place on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Why:  To allow Alpine Energy to safely carry out electrical line and pole maintenance.

Additional information/Disruption:

• Residents' pedestrian access will be maintained

Road Closure Sterndale Valley Road, Pleasant Point

Where: Sterndale Valley Road from Monument Road to Timewell Road.

When: The closure will be in place from 7:00 am on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, to 6:00 pm on approximately 6:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Why:  To undertake a box culvert replacement.
