Alexandra Street from Studholme Street to #10 Alexandra Street

When: Daily closures from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm Tuesday, October 06 2026 & Wednesday, October 07 2026

Why: Power pole and overhead wire replacement

Road Closure: Oakwood Road, Timaru

Where: Oakwood Road outside # 103 and # 106.

When: Daily closure between 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday, October 05 2026 to Friday, October 09 2026.

Why: Power duct installation.

Road Closure: Barnard Street, Timaru (Revised Dates)

Where: Barnard Street from George Street to #26 Barnard Street

When: Nightly closures from 06.00 pm to 05.00 am Monday, September 28 2026 to Friday, October 09 2026

Why: Sewer lateral works

Additional information/Disruption: King George place/George Street will be at a reduced lane capacity (stop/go operation) near the intersection of Barnard Street.

Road Closure: Bassett Road, Rosewill (Revised Dates)

Where: Bassett Road from Rosewill Valley Road to #94 Bassett Road

When: From 7.00 am Tuesday, September 15 2026 to 6.00 pm Wednesday, October 07 2026

Why: To replace a damaged culvert

Road Closure: Waimataitai Street, Timaru (Revised Dates)

Where: Waimataitai Street from #3 Waimataitai Street to Evans Street

When: Daily closures between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm from Monday, September 14 2026 to Saturday, October 10 2026

Why: To install new water main and sewer main under the road

Lane Closure: Lennox Street

Where: Lennox Street, Winchester

When: From 7.00 am Wednesday, October 07 2026 to 6.00 pm Friday, October 09 2026.

Why: Power pole replacement
