Here are the upcoming planned road closures straight from the Land Transport Department for the week starting from October 20

Road Closure: Perth Street, Timaru

Where: Perth Street from King George Place to Church Street

When: The road will be closed between 9am to 10am on Sunday 19 October 2025

Why: Ceremony/commemoration held at the Seafarers’ memorial on Sophia St.

Road Closure: Wooding Road, Woodbury

Where: Wooding Road between Tait Road and Mees Road

When: The road will be closed between 7am and 5pm on Monday October 20^th and Tuesday October 21^st, 2025

Why: To complete 3 road crossings

Road Closure: Lennon Street & Maddren Street, Winchester  

Where:

Lennon Street from Temuka-Orari Highway to Ronald Street

Maddren Street from Rise Road to Richard Street

When: Work is expected to take place between October 24^th and October 31^st, 2025

Why: Road resurfacing
