Where: Wilkin Street from Domain Avenue to #54 Wilkin Street
Alexandra Street from Studholme Street to #10 Alexandra Street

When: Daily closures from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm Tuesday, September 29 & Wednesday, September 30 2026.

Why: Power pole and overhead wire replacement

Road Closure: Hill View Crescent, Timaru

Where: Hill View Crescent from #24 to #34.

When: Daily closures from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm on Tuesday, September 29 to Friday, October 02 2026.

Why: Water lateral upgrade

Road Closure: Robinson Road, Pleasant Point

Where: Robinson Road, between #249 and #231

When: From 6.00 am Tuesday, September 29 to 6.00 pm Friday, October 16 2026.

Why: Culvert installation

Additional information/disruption: There will be Temporary Traffic Management in place along Robinson Road between Davidson Road and SH8 as part of the road reconstruction works outside these dates.

Road Closure: Barnard Street, Timaru

Where: Barnard Street from George Street to # 26 Barnard Street

When: Nightly closures from 6.00 pm to 5.00 am Tuesday, September 02 to Friday, October 02 2026.

Why: Sewer lateral works

Additional information/disruption: King George place/George Street will be at a reduced lane capacity (stop/go operation) near the intersection of Barnard Street.

Road Closure: Prattley Road, Temuka

Where: Prattley Road Toner Road Intersection

When: From 7.00 am Wednesday, September 30 to 6.00 pm Wednesday, October 14 2026.

Why: Culvert replacement

Road Closure: Muff Road, Temuka (Revised Dates)

Where: Muff Road from Ohapi Settlement Road to #450 Muff Road

When: From 7.00 am Friday, July 03 to 6.00 pm Friday, October 23 2026.

Why: Construction of a stock underpass

Road Closures: Resurfacing Programme

The following roads are scheduled for chip sealing this week, with road closures in place while work is carried out.

In most cases, each site takes 1–3 days to complete, depending on the length of road:
