Where can I dispose of the recalled rainbow sand?
Do not dispose the recalled magic sand into your kerbside red rubbish bin
At all of our Transfer Stations head to the kiosk and let the staff know you are disposing of asbestos contaminated material and they will take you through the process.
Before bringing any products to the drop-off point, ensure you place the sand in a sealed container, then double-bag in thick plastic or in multiple layers of plastic wrap, seal with tape, and clearly label as “Asbestos-Contaminated Material".
There is no charge to people for disposing of the recalled magic sand.
