Halstead Road from Main Road to Harris Street
Khan Street from Afghan Street to Main Road
Afghan Street from Kyber Street to the cul-de-sac
When: From 8.30 am to 4.00 pm on Saturday, November 07, 2026
Why: Community Event - Get to the Point
Lane Closure: Morgans Road, Timaru
Where: Morgans Road, from Pages Road to Orbell Street
When: From 6.00 am to 8.00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2026
Why: Road resurfacing
Additional information/Disruption:
- Access to Aorangi Park from Orbell Street remains open.
- No entry onto Morgans Road from St Vanneys Street, Carlisle Place, and Lindsay Street
- No right turn onto Morgans Road from Dunvegan Place, Windsor Street, and Cardiff Street
Lane Closure: Seadown Road & Meadows Road, Timaru - (Revised)
Where:
Seadown Road and Meadows Road, Timaru
Northbound one-way from #66 Seadown Road to Meadows Road intersection
Southbound one-way on Meadows Road from Sheffield Street to Elginshire Street
When: From Sunday, November 08 to Monday, November 30, 2026.
Why: To reduce congestion around the ongoing works in the area.
Road Closures: Resurfacing Programme
The following roads/streets are scheduled for chip sealing this week, with road closures in place while work is carried out.
In most cases, each site takes 1–3 days to complete, depending on the length of the road.
