Location

Self-contained vehicles only camping site is within the South Rangitata fishing hut reserve. It is close to where the Rangitata River meets the sea coast.
The nearest towns are Temuka and Geraldine.
Facilities
The camping area opens early September, coinciding with fishing seasons, and is open through until Easter weekend, catering for fishers and campers - NOTE this area is for self-contained vehicles only.
On-site facilities include:
- powered sites for campers and caravans
- non-powered sites for campers and caravans
