Monitoring & Review of Resource Consents

After a Decision

When a resource consent is granted it may be subject to certain conditions. These can be wide ranging and cover many aspects.

Council is required to monitor the exercise of resource consents. Often consents will only be required to be monitored once. However, some consents will need to be monitored periodically for as long as the consent is exercised.

Additional charges may be payable for monitoring and will be charged at cost.

A consent authority may, serve notice on a consent holder of its intention to review the conditions of a resource consent.
