The Timaru District Council has opened consultation on the Draft Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (WMMP) 2024 - 2030.
The WMMP is required to be reviewed every 6 years. This draft follows on from the current WMMP that was drafted in 2018 and looks to develop further a number of the initiatives proposed in the current plan as well as seeking new opportunities. The plan looks to be forward thinking and as well as identifying opportunities for the future is seeking to consider potential barriers that may arise.
