The boil water notice has now been lifted. Downlands customers can use water as normal.

Due to recent weather conditions, consumers on Downlands rural water supplies are advised to boil all water for human consumption.

This includes water for:

* Drinking
* Food preparation
* Making Ice
* Brushing Teeth
* Washing Dishes

Please boil for at least a minute, then cool before consuming.

This does not apply to Downlands customers in Pareora and St Andrews.
