Found a pothole, a water leak or some broken playground equipment that needs fixing? Then grab your Smartphone, Snap a photo and Send it to your Council.
Your photo arrives at the Council with all the details including the exact address of the problem, any notes you may have added all via the GPS on your phone.
This new way of letting the Council know of problems is being rolled out across Canterbury, and will work in whatever District you are in – see a problem in Christchurch Snap it, Send it and it automatically goes to the Christchurch City Council.
Of course local requests can still be lodged by phoning the Council on 03 687 7200, calling into the office or completing the online form
