Unfortunately we are going to have to temporarily close Bridge 138 on Levels Valley Road, which lies between Rolling Ridges Road and Driscoll Road.
Erosion behind an abutment has resulted in the approach becoming undermined, which requires urgent repair.
Contractors will be on site this afternoon and will commence temporary repairs to allow the bridge to open in the short term until more significant underpinning works can be carried out in the next few weeks.
We apologise for the inconvenience as we undertake this safety work.
