Te Moana Conserve Water Notice - Timaru District Council

Water is back running through the Te Moana Water supply scheme area that was affected by the pipe break on Saturday.

Please conserve water until the scheme fully recovers over the next day or so. Many thanks to our contractors Citycare Ltd and scheme operators for making this happen.

The repair to the pipework is complex and on going. The repair is being carried out on a pipe that appears to be failing from the out side in due to ground conditions. Contractors are onsite replacing lengths of pipe to resolve the issue.

Please continue to conserve water in the Te Moana water supply scheme in the areas of Wooding Road, Sheep Dip Road, Four Peaks Road, Te Moana Road to Slacks Valley Road.

A pipe has failed on Saturday night on Wooding Road and repairs are currently underway.
