Partial removal of precautionary boil water notice for Downlands rural water supply

We are pleased to announce that following successful commissioning of the new Te Ana Wai water treatment plant, the precautionary boil water notice has been removed for the majority of Downlands consumers.

The exclusions are noted below:

Downlands customers on the Waitohi/Kakahu side of the Opihi River unfortunately are still required to boil their water until otherwise advised.

If you are on Downlands water and not in the one of the above-named areas, your water is now good to go straight from the tap!

Precautionary boil water notice removed for Te Moana rural water supply on 20 December 2022

The Te Moana water supply precautionary boil water notice has been removed effective 20 December 2022.
